Rubber Gasket

Rubber gaskets are components used for sealing, shock absorption, or friction reduction and are widely applied in industries such as pipeline connections, valves, mechanical equipment, automobiles, and household appliances. They effectively prevent the leakage of liquids, gases, or dust while reducing vibration and noise, thereby enhancing equipment stability and service life.

Common Rubber Gasket materials include:

1.Natural Rubber (NR): Offers good elasticity and wear resistance but has poor oil and aging resistance.

2.Chloroprene Rubber (CR): Exhibits excellent weather resistance, oil resistance, and chemical resistance, making it suitable for outdoor environments and oil-contact applications.

3.Nitrile Rubber (NBR): Resistant to oil and abrasion, commonly used in seals for the petroleum and automotive industries.

4.Silicone Rubber (Silicone): Withstands high and low temperatures, making it ideal for food and medical applications.

5.Fluororubber (FKM): Highly resistant to high temperatures and chemical corrosion, suitable for high-end fields such as Aerospace and petrochemicals.

6.Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer (EPDM): Strong weather and ozone resistance, widely used in outdoor equipment and automotive sealing strips.

Rubber gaskets can be manufactured through molding, die-cutting, or extrusion processes. They can also be customized as needed, such as by adding wear-resistant layers or reinforcing compression structures, to ensure optimal sealing performance and durability.
